YIZHAN CENTER - LIGHT INDUSTRIAL HOME ACCESSORIES MALL

Yizhan Zhongxin
 (Light Industrial Products City Center)
the Large-scale Mall of Home Accessories

Take a trip to the Yi Zhan Center, a mega-mall that’s filled to the brim with knick-knacks and home décor. These large multi-level shopping towers have virtually everything, from cushions, lamps, crockery and accessories to whimsical pieces, such as a life-sized horse sculpture donning a lampshade as a hat. There’s one floor dedicated to top-quality silk flowers; another to vases and other pieces that wouldn’t look out of place in Indigo. Be sure to keep your eye on the prize because you can easily get lost in the maze of shops. Unlike Luohu, shopkeepers here are much more friendly and easygoing, but be sure to haggle down inflated prices. To get here, take a 10-minute taxi ride from the city center.

VERY LITTLE ENGLISH IS SPOKEN - IF ANY AT ALL!!!!
BE PREPARED.

GETTING THERE
My suggestion is to go to the Shangri-La in Lo Wu and grab a taxi and a hotel business card.  Let the doorman send you to this location.
RETURNING:  it is very difficult to get a taxi at this location at rush hour - especially when it's dark.  BE PATIENT!
Show the taxi your Shangri-la card.
It's about a 10 minute ride.

What is also difficult is to hand carry your goods back!
If you can hire a cross border limo - that is your best bet.  I do not have suggestions for this.

Yizhan Center (Yizhan Zhongxin 艺展中心 / Art Exhibition Center / Light Industrial Products city) is “the first large-scale MALL of home accessories in China”.

Shop 702-705, Yizhan Center,Phase Ⅱ, Meiyuan Road, Luohu, Shenzhen, Guangdong

THIS PLACE IS HUGE - about 4 buildings 4 stories each.  Maybe more.  The ones up front are more expensive - as you head towards the back the prices go down.

Many of these are factory showrooms......
These shops started as retail branches for factories in various provinces and some still are. The shops all have different owners so some bargain and some don't, some will do special orders and some just want to sell the stock in the shop.

THESE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN IN 2012!
I haven't been back since then.

DISHWARE

CHAIRS AND SUCH

POTTERY

LAMPS

INDUSTRIAL RETRO CHIC

ART WORK

LINENS

THERE ARE ALSO:
ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS
SEASHELLS AND CORAL
BEDDING

Good Luck on your hunt.  Never everyone ships or understands enough English to make it happen.  Be prepared to hand carry items back.
It's worth the trip just to check it out.
